CoD Leveling

Training and Attacking:

Everyone always says that they prefer to train their stats before attempting to level up. Well, let me put it this way, spending your energy on stats when you are only a level 1 is a waste. Not entirely, but almost. I will train stats when my 'Will' is at 100%, but at any other time it is a waste of energy. Alternating training with attacking 2 people should give your 'Will' enough time to keep climbing back up to 100%.

Ways To Gain Experience (Level Up):
  • Searching the 'Abandoned Pharmacy.' This will usually add about 5-25% experience every day.
  • Attacking: The higher the level, the more experience you will usually gain. It might take a couple tries to figure out who's an easier target, so don't give up if you lose the first couple tries. Check out the Easy Targets page for a short list of quick hits and tips on who to attack or not to attack. Hospitalizing gives you the most exp, followed by leaving and mugging.
  • Leveling in 1-2 days(by mass hospitalizing): This is one method used by some players when they want to level in a short amount of time. Stock up on uppers by using Cronies (or sit out and wait for energy if you can't afford it) and hospitalize at least 10 people at a time over or around your level. If you can't find people over your level, you might even want to just attack and leave and do that more frequently for exp gain. Do this at intervals throughout the day, and you'll level in no time.
  • Crimes: This gives a very small fraction of experience as well. The higher level you are and the better house you have directly affects which crimes you are able to succeed at and how often. The harder the crime you do, the more experience you get for it. However, the higher level you are, the smaller that percentage gain it is.
  • Training: This is the hardest way to gain any experience whatsoever. At least, now it is. When a full bar of energy used to give over 1 million stats, then one could gain about 10% experience off of it. Now, personally I hope we never get back to those kind of stat gains until a couple years down the road. And by then I hope that you would have to be such a higher level that they would no longer give 10% exp gains. Currently training your stats DOES give just a fraction of a percentage of experience, but if you pay attention you may see it.
  • Personal Trainer: This is for members in a faction with a level 2 faction upgrade. For the level 2 faction upgrade, there is a personal trainer that allows you to train 5 times a day for 100% energy each train, training until your health is depleted each time. Even with this, people usually make less than 1% exp per train on average.
